GlobeTel/Sanswire Blimp Wreck and Obama's Coattails
Like a horror-movie monster that just won't die, the grotesque blimp story continues, even for the scraps of penny-stock nightmare Globetel. The leftovers, called Sanswire, are trying to ride Obama's coattails, I'm guessing to try and pump a little air into the share price.
For the GlobeTel nightmare, click here. Follow some links. It's pretty interesting, especially the limp threats I got from then Globetel lawyer (current Sanswire CEO) Jonathan Leinwand, who told me:
GlobeTel "in order to protects [sic] its interests and those of its shareholders, will no longer continue to communicate with you."
"Accordingly," it continues, "this will constitute a formal request that you immediately cease-and-desist from any further communications or inquiries . GOVERN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY."
On him, try a search of Sunbiz.org (Florida's official biz records). Then run a few yahoo searches, perhaps on stuff like PGS Pharmaceuticals Group. Here's what comes up in Australia... Or hey, check out where its IR guy has been.
The fun never ends when you're talking Florida penny stocks.
