Remember when our gov-ment  borrowed and over spent money to prop up certain  people:  gov-workers  such as  police ~ teachers ~  auto workers ~  crony  capitalism...

How nice we can spend  for  ten  p i ggies  to search  for the chief's  son's  missing phone,  overtime  no-less for  detectives ??  aren't  they salaried ???

What  was  the result ?

Sadly  this   occurs over and over and over again within  our  gov-ment,  just look into the next  gov-ment sponsored  workers  convention  to   Hawaii...

Stimulus all on the tax-payers backs.

Perhaps  Norway  has it best  as they coddle  their criminals to soften them  for release.
