"To adjust its reporting schedule, Goldman began fiscal 2009 on Jan. 1 instead of Dec. 1 of last year. The bank said for the month of December, which fell between the change in reporting cycles, it lost $1 billion, or $2.15 per share."

The lemmings who want so bad to get the financial needle back in their arm will do anything

And then the dilute by 20%.

BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY

PS  the easy money was made at GS 60

Anybody who buys now (retil investor cough cough) is a SUCKER

Oh, BTW, if you don't like goldman and you start a website, they will hire goons to try to shut you down.

Where is the first amendment?  This is a plutocracy.

...its all about the outlook/guidance tommorow morning. Agree fundamentally, especially since stock doubled (and not a $3 stock) but why fight the tape?

Listen Goldman Sachs assisted in the manipulation or mass fraud that saw oil go to 147 per barrel.  Is anyone really surprised that it would leave out a loser month for better earnings.  These are the biggest gangsters in the history of the world.  They have infiltrated the government at the highest levels possible.  They manipulate stock prices and de-fraud little old ladies out of their pensions.  Our government bailed out AIG explicitely so that GS would be paid the 12+ billion they were owed by AIG.  All the while knowing that GS is manipulating tax paying citizens of their futures.

The sad reality is that GS is viewed as the leader of the free market, when in actuality they should be viewed as the biggest mafia in the history of the world.

The American people need to wake the fuc^ up and write to their congressman/woman and demand full investigations into the crimes against morality committed by GS executives and minions alike.  They all need to be put in jail or killed, either way something needs to be done.

Incidentally I know that GS isn't the only bank that has man handled this pathetic system, the investigation should just start with them, as they are the biggest cowards/rats they will tell were all the other bodies are buried.
