Gushan's 300% jump

I've noticed a lot of people closing out their pick on Gushan Environmental (GU) to lock in the huge jump in share price the other day.  You should probably know that that change was caused when they changed the ratio of ADS's from 1:2 to 1:10 for every share.  I guess that works out the same as a 1:5 reverse split.  So once our start prices on GU have been adjusted to account for that you may discover that you just locked in a small loss instead of a huge gain.

A good rule of thumb here is that if an outrageous gain is made, check the news before you close things out since CAPS may be running behind on catching a corporate action.  And one thing is sure: CAPS will always catch up to a corporate action in the end.........

Nice catch hall9999

Yeah, I noticed that myself from Friday I believe, as well as what appears to be a similar thing with UAL today.

I closed out my outperform pick on CAPS and went to underperform, and also cashed out my position in real life.  The market just does not like this company.  If it gets into the low twos, I'll probably pick it up again.
