Hecla Presentation Worth seeing
I came across this presentation given by the CFO of Hecla on April 13th of this year. Among other things, the CFO spends a bit of time covering the issues regarding their litigation, around minutes 5 to 8. After hearing this presentation, I am very convinced, more so than after Sinch/Silverminer/Chris chimed in on a previous post of mine, that Hecla will easily survive the litigation payments. To be fair, this presentation occurred before the Lucky Friday mine collapse, so the information concerning development of Lucky Friday mine has to be taken with a grain of salt. But, the prospects of the #4 shaft at Lucky Friday seem very promising. They also have some promising exploration in Suan Juan Silver, in Colorado.
So, for the moment, I await a better understanding of what happened at Lucky Friday that resutled in the mine collapse and how that will affect HL, but that aside, they have a very promosing future.
If I knew how to embed video, I'd do it otherwise I think you will benefit from watching the video linked above. It's about 24 mintues long, but very worth while!
