Hello Tea Party, Goodbye Small Government

February 22, 2011 – Comments (5)

This Wisconsin stuff is fun.

Tea Party Governor Walker is attempting to strip public employees of the freedom to bargain collectively. Less Power for them, more power for Government.

Additionally: Walker's administrative rules change would allow the Department of Health Services, via the overwhelmingly GOP-controlled budget committee, to change state laws unilaterally, skipping the legislative process altogether...this means Walker's bill will allow the governor to subvert the legislative process and make his own laws without going through the tiresome and long American tradition of lawmaking.

Yep, it takes a BIG power grab, to build a small Government.

Aint freedom grand.

Are you in favor of public employees getting even bigger pensions?

I am in favor of them being able to negotiate as a group if they choose to.

I think they have already offered to contribute more of their paychecks to their "entitlements".
