Look,

I'm getting fed up with the increase in "Hurryupandbuy" e-mails I'm getting letting me know I'm a "special investor". You remind me of a desperate pimp trying to tell me how fine his ladies are.

Get yourself together, go wash up, get a bite to eat and we can talk. Just stop showing up at my house at 3am telling me you need me, because I'm special.

You have a serious problem if you're checking your email at 3am!

JWebbzor, thanks but it seems this site has become more of a collection of disjointed thoughts, and posts competing for top billings than previously. Still good people with good write ups, just seems to be less and less. Over the last three months it also appears I have been lucky to have "made it" to a distribution list that tries to hawk MF pay to play services....yippee!

Enigma...Ha!, not checking e-mail a 3am, just using the crazy chick booty call as an example of inappropriate attempts at obviously unwanted interaction.

Dang - I must be getting old.  I get it now but I never had that booty call experience so the analogy escaped me...

(and I do agree that I am having to delete more of these MF email "offers" lately)

Have you tried changing your email settings?

My Fool -> My Settings, then click on Email & Other Communications. Through this interface, uncheck whatever you can uncheck.

I have not tried this yet, but I would expect it to cut the spam.

Strange, I checked it Leo, and as standard protocol I always select the "leave me alone" settings for anything. Wonder if a hiccup changed them? I had two check boxes selected?

Looks like there's no need to complain. I should probably do something to add value instead of bellyachin. Since I guess that I'm back on the 'leave me alone" settings.

TMF has the best customer service reps a phone call away.  Top notch, friendly, helpful, and have always been on top of any problem I ever called about.  Pretty much second only to Amazon in responsiveness to customer concerns.  Between that and the delete button on my Mozilla Thunderbird, I've never had a problem with the marketing pieces.

Whassuppp GNUBEE!

It doe'snt bother me at all, then again I'm registered at TMF to an E-mail adress that I rarely check. Sometimes I read em' sometimes I don't. (G-mail offers up to ten accounts)

BTW- I'm liking my chances in week 10.... ;)

All the best.

Well I've got Matthews back, plus the strategic fear strikes to your heart. So watch out!
