Last night Zero Hedge obtained some interesting documents from the CDC web site.  They contain blank 'forced quarantine' orders from Iowa and Florida regarding novel H1N1 -- including quarantine to a 'secure detention center'-- which appear to be recent -- dated April 2009.  Some may be aware the NIH and CDC just held an H1N1 conference in DC -- August 19-21 2009 -- that focused on 'mass fatality management'. For many, this should be cause for concern.  As is becoming clear, our government is quite corrupt.  The idea that this same government is now preparing for forced quarantine and mass vaccination  should make anyone who has been following recent events shudder.  There is something going on here, but governments have not come clean with the public.  Why 'secure detention centers' in the U.S. and 'secure vaccination centers' in France if there is nothing to be concerned about?   It is becoming increasingly clear that a global mass vaccination campaign is planned -- likely to become mandatory in the 193 WHO member countries, despite serious safety concerns regarding these untested novel H1N1 vaccines, some of which are now known to contain high levels of the deadly adjuvent squalene.

Others may be aware that it was only last week that the Massachusetts State Senate passed a law making it a relatively serious crime to refuse a mandatory vaccination or to break a quarantine order.  This law also includes rather astounding violations of the 4th Amendment, including warrantless searches and seizures of property if deemed necessary in an 'emergency'.  This new Massachusetts law also included authorizations for illegal arrest without a warrant and of forced vaccination of the public.  But the political activity is not limited to the states.  Yesterday Obama held meetings with senior cabinet officials regarding H1N1 'pandemic prepardness' including HHS Secretary Sebelius.  So this is not idle speculation.  There is something going on here.  Either the government knows something we do not, or this is the biggest  hype since the dot com bubble.

Although the current H1N1 virus does not have lethal genes yet,  we have been implicitly promised by the national and global health authorities that novel H1N1 will soon return with such genetic 'upgrades', just as it did in 1918. Here at ZeroHedge, we are expecting a flock of economic black swans soon,  and a pandemic -- whether real or hyped -- may be part of this flock.  An economic collapse will be no doubt be triggered soon , and it will be convenient for the political elites to blame the collapse on an external factor, such as a pandemic or a war.   Furthermore, the fall H1N1 pandemic may be a convenient pretext by which dangerous levels of expanding social control can be established by elites which have proven themselves utterly corrupt and morally bankrupt.

Are you prepared?????????????????????????????????

Genocidal plot or prudent preparedness? Even taken as presented, I don't think anything in the above makes the case for the former.

Even if you didn't write it, you did propagate it, and I think that's being irresponsible. You've seen how other posters on this board "overinterpret" the facts based on an absolute unshakeable distrust in anyone who's not a member of the church they're a member of. I'm sure there were other sources for the reports mentioned, describing the preparation for the epidemic without the heaping side helping of silly putty.

If they want to make conspiracy theories out of it, let them come up with them themselves, or at least force them to wait for Beck, Limbaugh and Hannity to do it for them.

Just my opinion, of course, nothing more.

This is being blown out of proportion.  We've seen 1,000's of cases in the last month, and it's been very mild.  What's the fatality rate among those without pre-existing conditions?  0.0%.  IF there ends up being any kind of mandatory vaccination, I would be worried.  However, I think the chance of that is probably also 0.0%.

To heck with Zero is what our government is telling us:

WASHINGTON – Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Wednesday that people should expect "a big influx" of swine flu cases this fall and prepare as best they can.

"The best thing we all can do are the very simple things, the washing of the hands, the coughing into the sleeve," Napolitano said in a nationally broadcast interview. " ... We're in all likelihood going to have them (new infections) before the vaccine is available."

They're NOT, alstry, unless there is a DEADLY EPIDEMIC! And they're doing a poor job of doing it "quietly" if the likes of Zero Hedge could get their mitts on it. This is *exactly* what I'm talking about.

If there's someone highly contagious with a deadly flu bug who insists on running around town with it (like, say for instance, some of the commenters on Zero Hedge), then I'd for dang sure hope the cops would have the power to confine them, keeping them away from me and my family.

If your point is that a certain segment of the population has totally lost faith in their government to do anything in their interest, then fine, I'll grant you that. But it sounds like your point is that you would like for the rest of us to join that segment.

I reiterate again - There is nothing in those documents that isn't precisely what you would want a government to do if faced with a deadly, highly contagious disease.

I don't see the point in rousing the rabble into thinking otherwise.

That pretty much sums up my feeling about the whole thing--it's not "camps" or jack-booted doctors forcing vaccinations.  It's the chance for 9-11 opportunism  to occur again.

And, I would like to point out, this has nothing to do with Dem vs. Rep or rich vs. poor.  Bush, who was definitely a Republican, arguably used the perceived dangers after 9-11 to expand the powers of the executive branch...

...hell, I can believe that most of the people in the government at the time actually believed they were doing the right thing for the "greater good."

Now, if...and I really mean "if"...H1N1 is perceived as a widespread threat (perceived, regardless of reality), there will be plenty of incentive to "do the right thing" for "the greater good."

Add that to a weak economy, and you'll have those "black swans" flying in WWII bomber formations all year...

Public Health Official:  You must all wear these bags of rose petals to ward off the Flu!

Citizen:  That's crap!  That has nothing to do with infectious diseases..

PHO:  Officer, arrest this man...

Judge:  I'm sorry, son.  Even though the PHO is full of crap, Section 95 (5) requires that I sentence you to 30 days and $50,000 fine for not wearing the bags of rose petals...

Well not to be heartless about it or anything, but my question is how would one play the possibilty of a swine flu pandemic as an investment thesis? I mean we all know there's going to be plenty of money made off this, pretty much no matter what.  I really wish I understood the pharma/biotech field better than I do, because I know that there are killer profits to be made in that arena at times, but unfortunately that sector just goes right over my head like a hat. I just don't 'get it'. I have no idea what the hell these companies are doing, what they're making, how they operate, or whether they're good, bad or indifferent as investment opportunities.

Anyway, of course here's hoping none of this ever happens. Viruses are so strange, ya never know what they might do. Sometimes like with Marburg or Ebola they'll just go entirely away seemingly of their own volition, receding back to who knows where and no one knows why. They are by far the most ancient creatures on earth, but yet we know virtually nothing of them. They come and they go, they mutate so rapidly and behave with such unpredictability that it seems impossible to keep up. They were here before all other life on earth, and they will be here when all other life has passed.

I took a couple of immunology courses in college, and that was very sobering as well as just crazy fascinating. We had several guest lecturers from the CDC come in who'd had first-hand experience with hot viruses, and to make a very long story short, these things are absolutely terrifying. I'm a huge fan of them in the abstract, for their survivability and mutability and mystery and mystique and just their overall structures. I mean they're beautiful, like art. They are so structurally perfect, and in fact I saw where there was an exhibit at the Met of photographs f the Ebola virus. Anyway all that said, they scare the crap out of me. I will never underestimate a virus, or of what it might possibly do or become. They're so tiny, you can fit 100 million of them on the period at the end of this sentence, but yet they are such perfectly lethal predators they have the true capability to topple a world.

One thing I suggest that everyone do is watch this movie .. in entirety .. I'm not saying I agree with all of it .. but I think that some form of what this movie is predicting is unfolding ... and all of the stuff in this movie is verifiable on the web ..

Also .. the man who created the movie, ALex Jones, has a radio show (that you can stream on your computer) every day from 11-3 EST .. I suggest you start tuning into this guy .. he's been predicting all of this shit .. I didn't want to believe him but now I'm seeing it unfold in reality.  He'll be talking about the vaccine today ... I noticed he even linked up the Zero Hedge story .. you can access his radio show here ...

Glenn Beck is in on it. If you rearrange the letters of his name, you get "Gecken-Nleb," which is Kenyan slang for "the Ukraine girls really knock me out."
