Coal Glut Rocks Mining Companies

Output Cuts Likely as Reduced Utility, Factory Demand Weighs on Prices

As our police officers get ambushed.....we are firing more and more as cities, counties, and states run out of money while we bail out the bankers and give them billions in bonuses......

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office could be forced to lay off deputies for the first time since 1983 because cash-strapped local communities that pay for patrols can no longer afford to foot the bill.

Not  only are millions getting fired...but millions of vacant positions are being closed as well.....creating fewer and fewer job oportunities for the tens of millions of unemployed and underemployed.

City of Livermore - 43 Positions and 32 Vacant

    There will be a reduction in library hours at branch libraries. The city attorney’s office will reduce the use of outside legal services and use of temporary staff. In the city manager’s office, two jobs will be gone. Economic development will reduce marketing and travel, expenditures for Poet Laureate and the arts commission programs, and remove the job of a retail consultant. Citywide less money will be spent on cleaning up litter and maintenance.

    In the area of public safety, there will be a reduction in animal control, information technology, property and records services. There would be no reduction in priority level one service calls.

Coal getting cold.....police officers and other municipal workers getting fired.....vacant positions closing.......forty out of fifty state unemployment funds running out of money by the end of the year............9.09 we knew FHA was out of money, FDIC was out of money, FNM out of money, Pension Guaranty out of money.......11.10.9 we began to feel.....1.01.10......it begins.

Life is sorta strange when it never really matters if there was WMD...just our reaction

Global warming is actually global cooling but we are still moving forward carbon taxes

We have a war on drugs but the countries we are occupying or based have record drug production

A rising GDP when the sales are slowing, tax receipts evaporating, and jobs being slashed

Unemployment only 10% but income tax receipts DOWN over 20%

Corporate profits rising but corporate income tax receipts evaporating

Almost makes one question...???????
