For a second there I thought that read "firearm"...  But yeah I compare it to the weather around my area lately...  So much sun, so much heat, due for some hellacious thunderstorms sooner or later.

So far my cat has had impeccable manners with company much to my relief. He greets guests with the exception of little people under a certain age whom he observes from a distance.

lemoneater,

Same with our cat. He likes people and is very friendly, he just doesn't hang around small children (he also stares intently from a distance). He is changing though, our daughter is less than a year old and he is finally warming up to her :)..

I had a cat when I was in my mid 20's that a trained like a dog. He could roll over and play dead etc...

He had a couple of vices though.

1) He liked to play with the doors on the kitchen cabinets. He liked to do this between the hours of 1 am and 4 am.

2) He liked to play with with my GF's cat and he liked to do this between the hours of 1 am and 4 am. Have you ever been awakened by two cats running across your chest at 100 MPH?

The 3rd vice he had was my fault. Ever since he was weened,  he was very clingy, so I used to let him ride around on my shoulders as I did my daily routine. He got used to this and when he got bigger I would get Bonzai attacked from all directions as he tried to jump on my shoulders.from various pieces of furniture. One time, I fell half way down the stairs because I didn't notice the black cat  flying at me from the banister on the dimly lit stairs.

ChrisGraley,

Awesome story!

Robuh ,

For some reason, I thought about Frank Sinatra's version of 'How about you' and I liked this line and wrote it down. The meaning is whatever anybody wants to read into it..

Hey Binve- I'm a little concerned about our Strongman. Are you? He went from multiple per day to none in multiple days. Hope he's on va-k and not still sweating his story that got kaboshed. The (week old) story about the BIS and that 346 "tonnes" of AU is a doosey! He should have been on that like stink on, I mean brown on, um, doo-doo. Regards

Hey Starfire!

No :) He is either on vacation taking a well-deserved break or he is intently researching something without distraction, would be my guess.

Yeah, that is a whopper, not so much that the gold swaps exist in the first place (which is still a very big deal) but what it means in terms of a breaking system. Jesse has been doing excellent coverage on this issue. Here are 2 good articles. Thanks!
