How to CRUSH CAPS

We all know the saying "You can't time the market" and investors that try will LOSE to the market.

So, if you want to do well at CAPS, the solution is simple.  Time the market, but if your gut says buy a particular stock, simply switch to a sell and vice-versa.

You will THRIVE in the CAPS system - people will label you an investing genius.  Reminds me of this great quote:  "Every instinct I have, in every aspect of life, be it something to wear, something to eat - it's all been wrong." - George Costanza:

So, how do you separate instinct, intuition and intelligence and countrary to which of the three should you act? I actually think it is not the instinct or intution that mess up things but the intelligence that puts modern day explanations on them.

What does this mean? I should do the opposite of what I think I should do?

Time the market? Yeah actually you are a genius if you can do that all the time.

This seems like you are giving advice like:

Want to Crush Caps? Then guess which stocks will go up the most! And which stocks will go down! It's that simple! And guess which way the market will go! So simple even a child can do it!

I thought those were absolutely the best Seinfelds of all and obviously apply to way more than the market. I don't have time for it (and maybe not the guts either:) but always thought it would be an interesting xperiment to run an 'alter ego' portfolio.....at least on CAPs. Why don't you do it and report back.

I will have the Tuna on toast, no wait I always have Tuna on toast. I will have the exact opposite of tuna on toast, I will have chicken salad on rye. Or something like that.
