How to survive (and thrive) during a Christmas during Recession

November 20, 2007 – Comments (3)

I copied this from  citizefabrica on Yahoo Message Board:

Step 1) Go to bank and take out an adjustable rate home equity loan on your $350K house (that is now worth $280K) that you have $20k of equity in from Country Wide Financial [CFC]

Step 2) Wake up and put on $30 underwear made in china for $1 and sold at Wal Mart and stamped "Under Armour" by chinese children [UA]

Step 3) Since it is winter / Christmas time put on your $39 plastic clog shoes with holes in them that were produced in China for a $1.39 and were stamped with "Crox" by Chinese children [CROX]

Step 4) Utilize home equity account that helped purchase said CROX and Under Armour and buy stock for 50 p/e that yields no dividend and has a net profit of 1% [GME]

42 inch plasma is so yesterday. It's got to be at least a 47-inch LCD!

Thanks for the comments.

It was late at night when I posted this. The statement seemed funnier then?

FYI - I got my 47 inch LCD last week! Plasma is so 2006. Sharp Aquos - $1399
