Huntington Bank- HBAN has Major Computer Glitch! Huntington Bank is a Joke!

I and 10’s of thousands of people today have experienced the glitches of Huntington Bank today. This regional bank has a courtesy 24 hour grace period on overdrafts for any account without credit attached to it.  HBAN as always claims no fault whatsoever.  I as well as many others were told via telephone today that we could transfer funds from a negative account to make another have a surplus.  This is incorrect! I have made this mistake it the past and the system has never allowed this.  I tried to recreate this error as they claim I could do today, only seconds apart, and I was not allowed to transfer anything from a negative account.

As of yesterday I was positive $80.01 at about 4pm, and I had also received a notice saying I was negative at the same time. Now anyone with any sense know this is not possible to have both. How can one person be negative on any single account when both accounts are in the positive? Why should anyone be receiving any notices if any one account, both accounts are positive? I think we can all say that HBAN is deficient in its processing means. Also while on the phone with Huntington Bank. I was advised that they had some processing errors as of last night, and that my wait would be exceeding 13 minutes, and as the recording stated “If I want them to call me back without losing my place in line, we can call you back”.

So pressed that option and waited. This is when I spoke with a representative who told me indirectly that I was a liar and that my account was negative as of yesterday. Stating this is what the computer screen reads, and so therefore it is as such! Is this how banks like Huntington are going to pay us back the people who loans them the money to continue to serve us? Scam us all to death? Bottom line as of yesterday my account was $80.01 positive and I was advised via email of 2 overdraft charges which did not appear on my online banking. As of this morning using the 24 hour grace, I would have been negative $43.99. Oh but wait, this only gets better. According to Huntington Bank my other account I use was $156.10 positive and as of 8pm last night it had a zero balance. So where did the magic money come from? They cannot explain it, and they don’t dare correct it!
