 http://now.msn.com/now/0509-cost-former-presidents.aspx

It's been a while,  can't say that i've missed this place,  but  wtf  really  especially  the part about  JImmy  Carter.................

Jimmy  mother _  looking  _  Carter    is  still  getting how much  ???????  half  a milllion ???

for  what  ???????  exactly  ???    omg............    again...  wow..........

Why  does  Nancy  need  7k  in stamps  ???

Is anyone else  even  a  little  upset ?   anyone besides  the  gloom doomers ?

WHo  exactly  proposed  this  and  look at how they  spend  the money ?

Sadly  this  isn't even money  thats  material compared to all the other money they've squandered, lost,  burned,  and  whatever  other  wording  you'd  care to  say at how they  blow.

Cr@ck-heads  who are addicted to spending.

Shoot me now.

Don't confuse everything. What you are referring to is the core CPI. The CPI index does include food and energy costs.

My point is this needs to be changed,  why do we need to still be giving JImmy Carter money ???  If things were that bad ? wouldn't you think maybe  he  could get a real job ?

It's been like 30 years, wtf...   do we also pay the vice presidents ???  anyone remember  Jimmy's vice president ? Mondale ???

So when Obama leaves office,  are we gonna be on the hook  for  him as well as he  has no job skills  other than reading off a teleprompter  and destroying  economies and human rights.

I digress,  my point is  this needs to end.  Let  the Clinton's pay their own rent  on offices which do what ???  give Bill  a place to feel important and seek  BJ's ??

Let the Bushes pay their own phone bills  wtf...  really.

Let Nancy  get her own  stamps.

Enough is enough...

seriously...

come on..

L0RDZ, do you feel similarly about military veterans? After years of receiving tax-payer funded paychecks, they get on-going pay and benefits for life.

I'm not looking to antagonize, I'm curious if you feel similarly about all government-based retirement benefits, or just executive-level benefits. And, if it's only executive-level compensation that bothers you...do you feel similarly about retirement packages for former CEOs and Board Chairmen of publicly traded companies?
