I am jealous of the girl that turned $3,000 into $210k and made it on the big headlines.

lol because she did it on pure luck.

In the last 7 years I have turned

$800 to $40k

$1700 to $52k

$2600 to $55k

and

$3000 to $45k

Its not luck when you can do it 4 times in 7 years.

What she did was pure dumb luck.

Gosh IBD if you can achieve those returns, why are you still here piddling on TMF?  If your results are not luck, why did you only use $1700 on your second win instead of the $40k from the first?  You would have turned that $40k into $1.2M !

Regardless, I agree (I think) with your point that this is a stupid article.

I will tell you why briyan.

Its much easier to turn small amounts to $40k to $50k then it is to turn $40-$50k to $1.2M

There is the float issue on stocks, you can't buy that much of a stock without moving the stock in way or the other when your trying to get out. Plus risking that much money scares me.

So what I do is put aside the majority while only risking a couple of thousands and trying to get it to $40k -$50k

Its worked extremely well and until it fails thats what I intend on doing.
