FWIW, I used to have chronic wrist pain from too much mouse use. I now use an ergonomic mouse pad , it cured my wrist pain within a couple days. I'm still shocked by how well it worked.

I also rotate left and right hands(some days I'll use my opposite hand) , that helps a ton. I've been pain free for two years now using these methods..

good luck

Hi 0x4b6a (19306!?)

The score is computed from the sum of all his picks (including ended ones) and the overall precision of his calls.

Note that EverydayInvestor closes positions when they are in the GREEN and patiently waits with those that are in the RED.

Hope this helps :-) -- Etamar

EverydayInvestor, I'm happy that you're number one, not in small part because reading the SAME Top Fool Taunt from SpecBear, OVER and OVER again, was beginning to make me feel physically ill.

Now, I like your taunt. But then, "...ask yourself, 'what do others know that I know to be false?'," is beginning to sound a bit like studying falsehoods. And I don't know if I can take much more falsehood studying. I think I'm just all studied out on falsehoods. If I ever become top fool, I may have to put a temporary moratorium on the entire subject of falseness.

In the meantime, best wishes to you!

As for studying falsehoods of man? Probably more having something to do with shorting every stock individually and the long index trackers.  Specbear's shrewed bet on a website game forced everyone read garbage posts.Everydayinvestor, the bar is set pretty low. I look forward to a new #1 CAP dude.

Lurkylurky - that is not a taunt. It is what I myself ask myself whenever I buy or short an invidual stock. 99.9% of the time I have no advantage. I am a big fan of index funds.

I appreciate you--and SpecBear, too--sharing your thought processes :-)

I'm a big fan of index funds, too. I'm afraid that when I buy individual securities, the dollar signs in my eyes are bigger than my knowledge of what I'm getting into.

But does one have to have an advantage over other investors in order to do well in the stock market? It's not a zero-sum game. How about just buying and holding companies that are shareholder-friendly, make money, and will continue to do so for a long time?

That's my naive plan, anyway... I'm no old hand at investing, and am learning as I go. I can tell you that investing was more fun during the bull market, when the rising tide was lifting most boats.
