yes, the people at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup are more important than you:

At some point, Goldman Sachs will do or receive something so eggregiously unfair that even the TMF front page articles will have to stop slavering over them and admit the existance of extremly anti-competitive treatment. I suspect the CEO of GS will have to be caught running a dogfighting ring with Mike Vick and the Unibomber before that happens.

Also, I'm not bashing TMF here.  I've just noticed a certain amount of deference towards the investment banks and Goldman in particular.  The day TMF starts denouncing Goldman is the day you know it's over for them (GS, that is).
