Intrepid Potash's only downfall is if the Democrat controlled Congress collectively graduates High School and as a result votes in favor of an energy bill that includes drilling for Natural Gas.

Congress is talking about energy bills.  So....  Could IPI see its downfall soon?

NOPE!  Democrats don't have the BALLS to do the right thing.  They are stuck on stupid blithering about energy efficiency when we need MORE energy...Not less use of our LESS ENERGY.

Democrats are pretending that Railroads provide great mass transit.  They need to visit Ohio/Michigan/and for that matter the entire midwest to get a clue.  No one shops in a downtown city via TRAIN!

John McCain won't be able to get the ball moving on anything except SOLAR unfortunately, as long as Democrats control Congress.  Democrats DON'T COMPROMISE with anybody when in reality the Environmentalists seem to control American Society.

I take it you have more confidence in the Republican party... Your downfall would be to have any confidence in politicians...

I agree with Lee. Also, I think ethanol has seen its best days, and even environmentalists and their puppets at the DNC are catching on to its inefficiency, spelling bad news for fertilizer cos. like TNH, and devastating news for terrible fertilizer cos. like IPI.

O.K. I'll wait until you graduate from high school and write something that makes sense.

I can only but assume that you think these potash stocks are only doing well because of ethanol. Ethanol is nowhere near the reason.  The potash stocks are doing well, and will continue to do well because PEOPLE NEED FOOD and potash helps crops BESIDES CORN.  You honestly think China is paying the prices they pay for potash because of ethanol?

Doesn't matter, Awallejr, in regards to why fertilizer prices are high and getting higher.  The fertilizer prices will plummet when either ETHYNOL stops being manufactured for fuel in cars, or when America is actually drilling for Natural Gas.

As for my feelings about the Republican Party.  I prefer any party that supports drilling for Oil, drilling for Natural Gas, mining for Coal/Liquid Coal, and building nuclear power plants and oil refineries.  I support any politician that pushes a bill in Congress to make any of the above happen.

Collectively, John McCain AND  the Democrat Party are all a bunch of morons who will not do anything for energy outside of conservation and SOLAR power.
