My thoughts on whether the Fed is the "mystery buyer" that fueled the massive stock rally off last March's lows.

On another note, for those who are interested in following/ commenting on my analysis on a different platform, I can now be found on Twitter.

The Fed wouldn't do anything "in total secrecy".  It is totally transparent.

Great article, I had not seen that data from TrimTabs yet. Although I must say that it is of no surprise.

No doubt, and when government debt self destructs so will the market, only this time there will be real blood in the streets.

Who is behind and "depression," rally, bear market or bull market?  Easy answer:  Active traders, whether they be whales, minnows, government, retail investors, business or real estate owner, etc.  You get the picture.  The markets (precious metals, currency, oil, equity, commodity, antiques, auction, etc.), are all driven by people who are buying and selling.  The "news" is a "post-mortem" or a "prognosis" we use to justify what is happening around us.  Money was not lost during our recent market upheaval....it just changed hands and was re-distributed.

The Fed is just as much a part of this rally as any of the other players who are involved in the marketplace.

Fool on!  Make lots of money!

Back in early 2009 there were several people calling for the bottom of the bear market and start of a new bull market. It's not as if the rally came out of the blue sky... Hey even Dr. Doom Marc Faber called the bottom and the rally!
