Lebanon's ambassador to the United Nations has warned that Israel is exhibiting signs of an imminent attack on his country, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Hayyat reported on Friday.

Those Hummus eating Hezbollah guys have strong ties to Iran.  Iran has strong ties to Russia and China.

Those Chummus eating Israeli guys have strong ties to America.......and America is running low on money and the bankers are cutting off the citizens.

A $2 Trillion dollar deficit and evaporating tax receipts......

Either economic collapse or WW3?  11.10.9 is when you Feel.

Our nation is broke whether you like it or not.....the government  owes its citizens an entitlement obligation that it can't pay.

If you were Obama....or any other President faced with the choice of fighting our own citizens after they have been scammed or fighting an external enemy...which one would you choose????

It is crazy talk.  I calculated the probabilities and despite your continuous ranting, the probability that you are right are extremely small.

The probability is so high that most of your blogs get huge laughs from many that read them is a foregone conclusion.

11.10.9  When Many Feel!!!!!!

The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority said Friday that its operating deficit has soared to $98 million over the next two years, four times worse than projected four months ago when a series of cutbacks and fare increases was adopted.

But the drop in sales taxes that help fund the agency has been much deeper than expected when the current budget was adopted in June. They plunged by 21 percent during the third quarter of the fiscal year and are on course for a 27 percent drop in the fourth quarter.

Now the VTA is considering more service cuts, layoffs, employee benefit cuts and putting off new projects as it tried to control its red ink.

4X WORSE!!!!!!  Than just 4 months ago?????

Should have been reading Alstrynomics....they would have known in they FEEL.

In 9.09 you MANY FEEL by 11.10.9......

For an estimated 1,000 Opelika workers, Halloween lived up to its frightening reputation.

The factory is closing after 46 years.

The company said the Oct. 31 closing was necessitated because of the drop in new car sales and because people were delaying purchases of replacement tires during the tough economy.

Not only is the area losing 1,000 jobs, but 1,000 high-paying jobs. Opelika Chamber of Commerce officials said the jobs paid as much as $25 an hour and would be difficult to replace.

None of this is difficult to see, just difficult to accept....that America is shutting down.

Sales Tax receipts down OVER 25% and a depression is only a 10% decline in GDP.  High paying jobs being slashed and revenues evaporaating.

Something any practicioner of Alstrynomics could have seen coming months ago as we approach 11.10.9.

When you fire millions of workers, and slash the wages of tens of millions, and cut off credit in a leveraged domestic consumer economy....the economy eventually shuts down.

At this point, the only real debate is whether it is WW3 or ecomonic collapse.

FRANKFURT, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Germany's biggest steelmaker ThyssenKrupp plans to cut 10,000 jobs in Germany in its current fiscal year, weekly Der Spiegel said on Saturday, citing company sources. It said the job cuts were part of a major savings programme that would entail reductions of some 20,000 jobs worldwide.

The Opelika Tire plant has closed, this is true. Meanwhile the following are also true about the Opelika economy:

 1. Wal-Mart has opened a regional distrbitution center in Opelika.

2. Gambro,  a global renal medical products company, has opened a field office in Opelika.

3. Several  auto parts suppliers have opened shop in Opelika to supply the Hundai auto complex in Montgomery and the Mercedes complex near Tuscaloosa.

All is not gloom because a 46 year old tire manufacturer goes bust.

in U.S.A. we have 300 million people. A ww3 is unfeasable if not impossible with U.S. involvement.

One can even argue that in WW1 and WW2  Americans enterted the war at a late stage just for stabliazing things in Europe.

I think a ww3 would start in Europe but that looks almost impossible.

The best thing for the U.S. to do is to chill and save our eneregy and natural resources.

We are walking on a very thin ice, we should become a little more isolated so that we can prosper. Our expansion in the world was more than we could handel. And now like every other empire before us (Persian, British, Russian) we are digging our grave in Afghanistan.

But hey..look..Persians/Iran is still alove .British are still alive...Russian are not doing bad either. So the fall of our "Empire" is not a bad thing. It had actually fallen long time ago, we just need to make it official and get away from the world scene a little.

Why do we care so much about Iran's nuclear weapons?? who gives a crap?? We live thousands miles away from them. If Europeans (Germans specially) don't give a damn and still do business with Iran, and they love so close to Iran....or when Russia who is alomost like a Neighbor to Iran doesn't give a damn and is helping Iranains....why should we care?

We care only because of the damn Israel. father is Jewish but even he doesn't like the Zionist was a British movement with colonial mentality in place...Colonialsm is long over and our world is very much interwoven.

You can't kill 50 million Mexicans who live in U.S. You can get rid of Africans, South Americans, Middle easterns who live in Europe in the millions. You can get rid of Chinese in the U.S. who built our railroad and live in the millions in the U.S. and Europe.

Our world is interwoven and if the IMF and worldbank paperpushers give up on that thought (colonialsm) we would have a better world.

The white guys who think they are running the world are just fooling themselves...look at their daughters and sons who have Black husbands and Iranian wives.

Look at the 56,000 U.S. Citiozens who live in Tehran right now. I mean come on...a world war 3 is like killing your own brother and sister who live in those countrie.

Why would russia start a war with the U.S. when the richest guy in Beverley Hills is a Russian guy who is in steal business???

Why would U.S. start a war with Russia when Americans have invested millions if not billions in Russia??

The only problem I see in the world right now is the damn Israel, It is doing a dis-service to Jewish people around the world. Just change the damn name of Israel to Palestine....Palestine was the name of the country even in Bible...Israel was just the name of a tribe not even if you are idiot enough to go back to stupid 2000 year old bible atleast be accurate. the the bible is says that Persians rebuilt Jerusalem twice!!!

UCLA, really..? You're a college student? Wow.. I'm almost at a loss for words. Actually, the majority of the area known as modern day Israel, was known as the Kingdom of Judea long before it was established as Palestine. The people of Judea were made up of.. you guessed it, Jews! Much later, the Romans tried to enslave the Judeans, who then revolted, prompting the Romans to destroy the temple of Jerusalem (of which one wall still stands today, you might have heard of it..) and then dispersed the Judean populace across the Roman empire in order to solve this problem of revolting.. Now known as Europe and the Mediteranean.. The name "Palestinia" is not an Arab word. It was actually named by.. you guessed it, the Romans! This of course happened after the the revolt and subsequent dispersal. Hence, the reason it shows up in the "English" version of the Bible.. By the way, the words Israel and Judea are also used to describe this area in the Bible. Depends on the context and timeline. Ever wonder why Israelis were so prevelant across Europe before WW2.. Ever wonder why it's called Jerusalem..? Just another fun fact for ya, most of "Palestine" was a wasteland that no one seemed to care about before WW2. That is of course until the Israelis turned it into an Industrial empire in the sand. All of a sudden, now everyone wants a piece of it..

These are historical facts, you can find them in books not affiliated with any religion. It just so happens that the Bible's timeline for these events match up quite well with historians account of the events.. Advice: before you go calling people idiots, maybe you should do a little more research..

Also, this was a little disturbing, and I don't see what the point was to any of it, although I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming this was a typo:

--"You can't kill 50 million Mexicans who live in U.S. You can get rid of Africans, South Americans, Middle easterns who live in Europe in the millions. You can get rid of Chinese in the U.S. who built our railroad and live in the millions in the U.S. and Europe." --

This is one of my favorites:

"Americans entered WW2 just to stabilize..?!" So 400+ thousand Americans died in Europe just to.. Stabilize?? That's 400,000.. 400K.. 4 zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero.. I'm pretty sure we were attacked on our own soil.. and I'm pretty sure over 2000 people died.. but I could be wrong. Sounds like you're downplaying WW2 jussst a little bit. I would hate to hear what you have to say about the Holocaust.. Your apparent hatred towards "the damn israel", cannot change history no matter how hard you try.

Wow there is so much factually wrong with your comment that I am giving up at this point. I really hope this is just an anomaly in UCLA's educational system.. If not, I'm scared for America's youth.

--P.S. I know this wasn't exactly the topic of the post, but I just could not sit and let history be butchered here on this page. People might have believed that garbage.

There were families and communities there. Do they not count because 1900 years earlier the land belonged to someone else? Two wrongs do not make a right.

As per WWII, we responded immediately to an attack but FDR was greasing the war machine long before that happened. Without trade actions in the Pacific and lend-lease to Britain, we would not have been attacked. Those actions, while not acts of war, were acts preparing for war.

As far as the comment about Palestine goes, you're right that was in bad taste and I didn't mean to imply that those people do not "count".

As far as WW2 goes, Of course we were preparing for war! I'll definitely agree with that. Do you really think that our involvement in WW2 was a choice..? We could argue that all day, but what do you think would have happened if we would not have provided Britain with assistance.. or not prepared for war..? Millions were being murdered and there was no end in sight. There was no choice involved here. This was not some political game in which we could just choose to go to war to help "stabilize" Europe. We didn't expend 400K American lives for politics. To suggest that, would be to downplay the significance of WW2 and all accompanied it. Personally, i find that offensive and that was the point I was debating.

Further, Hitler, madman that he was, didn't engineer weapons specifically for the US to "not" attack us. He didn't write a book (In 1928) speaking of an inevitable war with the US because he "didn't" want to attack us at some point.. He had plans, he was just waiting for the right time.

I suppose your not butchering history either? I guess your the only one who  delegates what is right and what are lies in history. You know what? We CAN expend 400,000 lives for politics. People have been doing that since time began, read a damn history book. So you agree we were preparing for War in World War II. Now your implying that we were READY for war when Japan "surprise attacked" us. Good, I can agree with that. I can agree that WWII was a CHOICE. We WANTED to go to war, we just gave the Japanese a carrot. They took the bait. After that, we go to Europe.

Oh "people" have been doing that.. Oh ok, well great argument. I'm talking about the US, you're generalizing all of history's wars in one lump, that's brilliant.. Great argument. Actually preparing and being ready are two completely different things, and I never said either, i simply agreed that we were preparing. We would have been completely clueless not to. Obviously. Are you going to present any facts or just play with words and try to sound clever?

Sure I have some opinions in there, that's why I said we could argue all day about whether it was a choice to go to war. I never delegated anything. The difference is that I've presented plenty of facts to support my arguments. Look them up.  And you're telling me to read a book..?

JibJab made some good points about my comments and I retracted one of them, but this is just childish quibbling now. Say what you want, I'm out.
