Is Money Even Real Anymore???

Five bank closures to cost FDIC fund $1.5 bln

House readies for historic health-care vote

$1 trillion cost over 10 years

We are running a $2 Trillion dollar deficit BEFORE these expenses........with real estate crashing our private economy is shrinking and tax receipts are evaporating......how can we pay for any of this...or most of what government is spending on these days???

If it can simply be printed........why not write a check for $1,000,000 to each American instead of just handing it to the bankers?????

If Alstry ran for President that would be his platform...$1,000,000 for every American.

Some days I am not sure which is more unreal....Alstry or Money???

When you simply print money and hand it to those you favor.....pretty soon you have a lot of unfavorable citizens....especially those citizens you cut off of credit.

It will be interesting to see where this is going....one thing is for sure we have never been there before.

money is just 0's and 1's on a computer screen. I hope the guy at the treasury or fed whose job is to create money on a computer screen does not mess up the decimal point.

And you'd still lose.

Al -

I'd vote for you with that platform as long as you cut off the aid to the Financial firms that got us into this mess.

jddubya #10-  I'll bet you "shred" like all the Val flatlanders. I picture you sittin' around the lodge drinking yuppie beer talkin about it in your fancy new outfit. I'm guessing Heavenly with the tourists. You practice up junior and when you feel froggy, come up to Rose and I'll show you Mr Toads Wild Ride.

They don't call it "Slide Mountain" for nothing!

I don't need a million, Alstry, just eliminate property taxes and we'll be square!

#13 - lol!  Actually I typically bring a flask of JW Black to hit outside in the cold, but I'm also not the "shreddin'" type.  I can make it down a black diamond, but I usually end up with a wild face plant at some point on the way down.   I'll be the first to admit that nearly everybody that goes up the lift is probably better than me.

Rose may be a stretch for me, but I WILL let you know if I make it up that way.  I'm also not so sure about being your junior, but I'm certainly open to being "schooled" in the ways of the board...lol

Now bullnada sounds like he REALLY would like to shove me down the backside of an expert run during a snowstorm, but that's cool.... I wouldn't blame him.

jddubya #17- That was an invite, just kidding about the new outfit. As far as junior goes, I'll hook you up with my youngest daughter- she does demos for me on clinics that I do. Mostly for aspiring instructors. Technical precision. Tip #1, lose the JW till quittin' time.  Just quit being a dick to Al, he's an oracle. You just don't have the mental capacity to see his "visions". Soon you will feel and know. Glad you have a sense of humor. As far as Bullnada goes, BRING IT, you've got an invite too.
