Did you know that you can buy OEM accessories anytime after purchasing a new car and even if you're not the original owner? Did you also know you could purchase new OEM accessories (back stock) if vehicle(s) model(s) are discontinued or predessessors? The biggest spenders in accessorizing and customizing vehicle(s) are most likely:

IMPORT SUB-COMPACT AND COMPACT OWNERS

DOMESTIC AND IMPORT SUB-SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE AND SPORT UTILITY VHEICLE OWNERS

DOMESTIC AND IMPORT TRUCK OWNERS

Sadly automotive manufacturers who spend alot of R&D in producing vehicles is losing multi-millions to billion (maybe more) of dollars by neglecting in INFORMING and PROVIDING owners with more variety of choices in accessorizing and customizing their brand in meeting owners distinctiveness, individualism, and uniqueness with OEM accessories.

The evidence is in the YELLOW PAGES with ever growing list of flourishing shops supplying aftermarkets accessories and flourishing custom shops providing installation(s) work who are capitalizing on automotive maufacturers neglect also costing automotive dealership service installation(s) work.

The solution to this neglect is to include vehicles with installed OEM accessories in their expensive advertising campaigns or the very least INFORMING and SHOWING examples of vehicles with installed OEM accessories in their websites. Majority of independant businesses isn't going to spend thousands to tens of thousands on a vehicle to showcase how aftermarket accessories would look on a vehicle where as auto manufacturers could and have the resources to do it and sell it. All in all I believe the majority of owners would like to see how accessories will look on a vehicle before making a huge investment plunge on accessories they might regret!!!

Although the POINTIAC name is dropped in 2010 (US) and by the end of 2011 (Canada). I'm sure as a whole GM  still supplies OEM parts and accessories for upto 25 years for all its 25 year and newer PONTIAC vehicle models and as for FIERO's its passed the 25 year mark. I believe there's a cult following (FIERO enthusiasts clubs) and what ever backstock OEM accessories and parts has left has been unloaded onto aftermarket shops who specializes in FIEROS.
