Is this the inside workings of the Illuminati?

I came across this Kelly: Bettman, NHL lucky to have five Canadian teams in playoffs, but do they realize it? and after reading it, seems to want to portray some sort of agenda conspired by secret a societies to its readers.

This reminds me of a scene from The X-Files season 4 episode 7: Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man and another scene from the 1997 James Bond film: Tomorrow Never Dies. When ever somethings can't be explained its human to assume things such as conspiracies that stretches as far as our imaginations can take us.

The last Canadian team to win the Stanley Cup was the Montreal Canadiens in season 1992/1993. This season 5 of seven Canadian teams has made it to the playoffs. They are in reverse alphbetical order by city Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, and Calgary Flames. Just by listing them in reverse alphabetical order by city may have triggered conspiracy theories from hardcore hockey fans. If a Canadian team wins the Stanley Cup this year its likely because its Canada's 150th anniversary and Canadian nationalism had a big part in it. I don't want to imagine what the conspiracy theorists will think of if in random order the Montreal Canadiens or Toronto Maple Leafs or Ottawa Senators win the Stanley Cup.
