Is War or Communism Our Only Choice?

How long can our economy continue to function when the vast majority of the population are subsidized NON PRODUCERS or work for government?...the opposite of what America was not too many years ago.

Today, most Americans and their dependents are now retired, on welfare, receiving food stamps, taking unemployment, working for government, or work for a health care system that is primarily subsidized by government.

AND EVERYDAY THE NON PRODUCITIVE/GOVERNMENT SEGMENT OF OUR ECONOMY IS GROWING AS GOVERNMENT IS FORCED  TO BORROW MORE AND MORE AND THE PRODUCTIVE SEGMENT IS COLLAPSING AS EVIDENCED BY SHRINKING TAX RECEIPTS.

The only reason we really have an economy these days is because government is collectivley borrowing at the Federal and State levels about $2 trillion dollars per year and giving it to the NON PRODUCERS to spend.  That spending is responsible for an incredible amount of revenues and jobs......

IT IS AMAZING AT HOW LITTLE CONSCIOUSNESS OUR NATION HAS ABOUT THE MAGNITUDE OF A $2 TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICIT.....and the cost on our current system that will impose.

The the burden on government is growing because the bankers have cut off much of the credit to the private economy driving down tax receipts to levels not seen in many years while expenses are growing rapidly.....

At some point, as private sector conditions continue to deteriorate, the charade will be exposed.....We now have a large pension fund borrowing from itself to fund shortfalls......in other words, those that are getting paid now are simply borrowing from those making contributions....and instead of letting the contributors know there is a massive shortfall, through an accounting slight of hand the current recipients are essentially stealing from the current contributors.  One must ask why are contributions even being made if the pension fund can generate money simply by borrowing from itself?

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A PRIVATE CAPITALISTIC ECONOMY WHEN MOST OF THE GDP IS DRIVEN BY GOVERNMENT BORROWING AND SPENDING.....

You must have production....and right now production is drying up rapidly absent government involvement.  The one area that is growing is our military....and that can be a very important segment of our economy.

Because when security is in doubt.....save food, security holds incredible value and everything else becomes pretty much worrthless.

When a nation's citizens stop producing, the government is forced to take over and drive production....it can either do it by controlling/owning the nation's production or going out and taking production from others.

It will be interesting to see which directionn this goes.....

You can't have a nation where few are producing and many are consuming.......without changing the world as you know it.

New claims for jobless benefits rise sharply

When you remained silent when we bailed out the bankers and left the debt on the citizens against crashing production....did you not understand the consequences?

You've got the fallacy of the excluded middle going on here. The correct answer is neither.

I've noticed more trucks carrying drywall and roofing materials lately.

Yes....selling directly or indirectly to government or government funded projects.....

Over 200,000,000 million Americans now are dependent on government for their livlihood and government is borrowing about $2 trillion dollars per year to keep those hundreds of millions of people funded......

When 2/3 of the nation is now dependent on government for their income....the government has become pretty much the only show in town.
