As cash flow continues to decline......conditions will only continue to deteriorate......

According to a study from the nation's largest food bank operator, the number of Americans in need of food aid has jumped 46 percent in three years, including a 50 percent jump in the number of children needing food assistance, and a 64 percent increase in hunger in senior citizens' homes.

Now the only question is whether this will lead to war or simply economic collapse.....niether is the end of the world, simply the end of a domestic consumer economy as you know it.

The most recent ABC Confidence index came in at -49, just five points higher than the all time low of -54 set last January and is now at the lowest level since last fall. The prior week reading was -48, and the consensus for this week was -45, implying a substantial miss from expectations. The persistent deterioration in this index is increasingly at odds with other consumer readings, considering that the other two CONfidence indexes , the UMichigan consumer sentiment and the Conference Board consumer confidence index both increased in January from the December readings. Currently the relative divergence between the ABC index and the UMich and Conference Board is at record wides. We sincerely hope that the government will soon come out with an index that tracks the credibility of all its other indexes.

If it lasts much longer....we have serious problems.....

Harley riders in Shreveport are still in shock and reeling from the news they received today; the Shreveport Harley-Davidson dealership will close its doors.

"there are constraints on all dealers from the motor company that impact business.  For instance approximately 365,000 motorcycles were produced last year, and that number will be cut to 212,000 in calendar year 2010. 

REMEMBER THE GOOD OLE DAYS.....WHEN RECOVERY WAS GROWTH????

At this rate of recovery, it should not be long before much of America simply shuts down due to lack of cash flow.
