Jay Knabb's Bahamian Score

March 02, 2007 – Comments (1)

So, our good friend, Jasper "Jay" Knabb, CEO of Pegasus wireless, has purchased himself an infamous boat with a long history familiar to Bahamians and the charlatans who, from time to time, arrive there, story in hand.

I'll leave it to others to decide whether or not there's any irony in the fact that Knabb has purchased this boat.

I will also note that, not long ago, an anonymous interlocutor who claims to have worked for one of the companies Knabb acquired for Pegasus, told me that he thought Knabb was in the Bahamas, and doing good deeds, in order to get himself salvage rights to shipwrecks. See the final paragraph of the article above for the reported use that Knabb intends to put this boat.

Said anonymous email correspondent also suggested that there may have been board resignations at Pegasus that have, so far, gone unreported. Pegasus IR hasn't responded to my email asking for the current duties of the execs and board members that this person claims have left the company.

This only gets more interesting as time goes on.

Note, he has "reportedly" purchased the boat. I'll be interested to see if he really did. I'll be even more interested to see, if the info pops up, whence came the moolah.
