Jim Cramer:The game is RIGGED!

August 26, 2008 – Comments (6) | RELATED TICKERS: FNMA , FMCC

I am score leader on FNM. But I did not put any money in this stock, it is a "rigged" game, IMO. The accounting, the business concept, the lie that they "make housing affordable",  the corrupt politicians and bankers supporting these GSE, etc.... How many times has the governement intervened to prop up this company? Paulson has showed up multiple times to juice this stock price.

Jim Cramer:The game is RIGGED!

I saw this CNBC, but I could not believe it. Did Cramer just say that? I was going to post on it. A day later I thought I must have dreamed it up. Cramer could not / would not have said that? It was just a dream...but then I found the video on Calculated Risk Blog!

I have posted on JC several times on CAPS:

Jim Cramer: The Flip-Flop that Ought to be Illegal July 02, 2008 Jim Cramer is Bearish. Murdoch Says He's `Very Bearish' on Economy. Ron Paul on Iran Policy 7/9/08

I have no idea what the governments plan is, but someone knows and is betting large sums of money accordingly.

But as Jim Rogers says, "Fannie Mae is insolvent", so I can spare a Red thumb for a company JR says is "insolvent" and "rigged" stock on moral grounds.

One of Americas best comedian George Carlin here talking about the Rigged Game:

RIP Mr. Carlin

Bear in mind Cramer got slapped on the wrist pretty hard for doing something that had the appearance of insider trading; although he was eventually exonerated, a lot of damage was done to his Wall Street career. He has an ax to grind.

I always felt Cramer is someone who means well and I think his concern that he shows to retail investors is genuine, but he tries to cover far too many things on his show. No one person can follow that many stocks everyday and be right. It's no wonder he flip flops, he probably doens't even remember his previous calls.

Seriously when does the guy even have time to keep on that much research, even with the help of his minions?

That and I don't care for how passionate he gets, it encourages emotional trading in his viewers I think, which typically leads to bad decisions. I understand the value of infotainment in getting people to watch but I think it ultimately does a disservice to his viewers by encouraging bad habits.

Nice guy, probably pretty smart guy, but he takes on more than even the best could handle well.
