Just a hello for Tagit and Lemoneater

January 11, 2012 – Comments (9)

It is likely that you are not spending much, if any time here in CAPS, but just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and praying for you.

I hope you had a chance to spend some time with family and friends during the holidays, and that you are being well cared for.

This is just a hello, in case you happen to check in some time.

Don't know if you just got fed up with CAPS, or are "lurking" under another name, but just wanted to let you know you were missed.

I hope everything is ok with you.

Yea I would like to say hello to Lemoneater as well.  She has a great way of turning any CAPS blog into lemonade. =)

Teacherman, this just made my afternoon :) I appreciate your thinking and praying for me. I finished my 2nd chemo last Thurs so I'm 1/3rd done. My tumor has already shrunk significantly--the Onc was practically beside himself with happiness.

My worse side effect has been fatigue and aching in the first week after treatment. Right now I'm working half days. Next week I plan to be back full time and hope to be practically normal the week after just like last time.

Strangely enough, I've been craving fresh pink grapefruit juice even more than lemonade recently.

Hope Tagit is doing okay.

Soycapital, outoffocus, SockMarket, It's good to know that I'm not forgotten. Wishing you all a great 2012!

It's interesting how well my portifolio has been doing in spite of my neglect. I've been very pleased with SE (Spectra Energy), I thought it would do well if I were patient. Buy and Hold has its place.

Very happy to hear from you Lemoneater and glad to hear the positive results.

Since your physician is being overseen by the "Great Physician", how could we expect anything else.:)

Don't overdo the grapefruit juice or work, we need your smiling ( I'm sure) face back here to keep us on the straight and narrow.

May the Lord continue to bless and keep you in His loving grace and continue to demonstrate His love for you.

I'm glad your portfolio is doing well, but I suspect it has more to do with your great picks than anything else.

Have a great week, and let us hear from you when you feel like sharing.

This is my first day back full time after my second treatment. There is something to be said for a desk job after all! At least I'm starting to feel my age again which is great!

Last night my husband got to meet the man that invented the MRI Dr. Raymond Damadian who was giving a talk for the pre-med and engineering students at our college. He owns a company called Fonar that trades on Nasdaq (FONR) How neat is that! He was happy when my husband said that the MRI really helped with my diagnosis which it did.

I'm thankful for the doctors and scientists who are the hands the Great Physician uses.

Thanks for continuing to pray for me, Teacherman. I cannot put a value on your compassion and concern.
