OIL HITS RECORD $9 A GALLON IN UK...

Not only that, there may not be many worthwhile places to spend it!!!!

Iconic American experiences in danger

The future of some of the best-known U.S. vacation destinations is in doubt.

It's Zombuation my friends.....simply Zombulation as you keep watching the ticker.....

If you think about it, it is really not too different than the clients of Madoff refusing to believe Markopolis that the whole game was a Ponzi scheme....until they were forced to believe.........

Will you be forced to believe........?.....;)

ALSTRY you do realise that people in London make 100% to 150% more than we do here so its not as bad as you make it out. Its all relative.

Remember, gasoline is heavily taxed in the UK, so that about $7 of that is taxes. Their spot price is no higher than anyone elses.

Yes.....But property taxes are going up.....health insurance is going up.....food costs are going up......fuel costs are going up.....sales taxes are going up......

Yet....family incomes are declining.......

It is much worse here....as gas is only a small component of a variety of costs rising balanced against falling wages.

And for those Americans making money...as government runs out of money....it will need to take more and more of Americans wealth to keep America running.

You think it is any different taking Americans' kids during war......our government economic survivial is at stake.

All of money is worthless - and it has been since it became just a debt token.  Most people don't want to understand this one simple fact: the use of money is the root cause nearly all social problems we face today.

Most crimes are committed either in the pursuit of money or in frustration of the lack of it.

Nearly all homelessness is due to the use of money

Nearly all starvation is due to the use of money

Nearly all destitution is due to our use of money.

And while I cannot say most wars would end, a good deal of the wars in the last 100 years have been at least partly due to the pursuit of money.

And yet, most people are so programmed to think of money as their very life, they cannot imagine a world without it.  Thus; I often hear people defending the use of money even when I prove to them that their standard of living would increase without it.
