Lack of Substance on DAILY KOS

Recs

August 01, 2010 – Comments (5)

Notice a trend on Daily Kos if you ever scroll down through the articles?

How about the fact that:

A)  They never discuss what they want.....

B)  If out of some super rarity they do talk about what they want specifically they never bother to check to see if it ever works.

Well right now at this exact time:     Sunday night at just after 10:00 p.m.

The entire DAILY KOS website consists of just 2 types of articles on the front page:

A)  Republicans/Conservatives are idiots and we must defeat them.

and

B)  Open Threads

That's it folks....  They do not discuss the issues of the day....  They do not discuss the state of the economy..... They do not discuss the state of the War in Afghanistan....

They do not discuss the impact of OBAMACARE.....

They do not discuss anything......anything........anything......

except "How do we win elections!!!!!  We want to win Elections!!!!  Need more Democrats!!!!!"

These people have the HOUSE + SENATE + WHITE HOUSE  and they can not offer us any substance beyond mewling about not having enough Democrats elected.

.................

....................

We put these people in charge of our Stock Market, Economy, and Military?

It is pretty funny in a way, they control all the levers of government and they still blame Bush and the Republicans as the party of "no" even though they can't even support a filibuster.  At some point the administration and the current legislators will have to own their failures.

Do you want to compare Daily Kos to Red State or the Free Republic?  It is a partisan political sight.  It is about electoral politics, not a particular issue.

And what brought this on?  Don't you have the good manners to realize this is an investing site and not a political one?  It has happened a thousand times here and just devolves into something ugly.

Not really since I never have followed those websites and there are "Posers" out there pretending to be Conservative only to eventually make us find out they are staunch turbo ultra leftists.

Like I used to follow Andrew Sullivan until he "Came Out" as an ultra leftists Commie.

I then followed Littlegreenfootballs.com  until all of a sudden he decides to attack Christians and Christianity and espouse Global Warming and wouldn't you know?   Become a Communist Marxist Hysteria-Bot.

Have to be careful with the Internet because there are an awful lot of POSERS that love to try and TRICK people to make them think they are conservative when they are most certainly not.

Another great example is:

www.TheAmericanMind.Com

This is a gentleman that I thought was a Conservative only to eventually discover he is an OPEN BORDERS  Liberal Lunatic that refuses to say what he believes for fear of exposing his deception.....  Now he doesn't even bother to discuss Politics anymore.

So... Have to be careful.. Lots of Posers....

So no...

I currently have limited my Conservative Blogger Sites down to:

www.drudgereport.com
www.Foxnews.com
www.hotair.com

www.rushlimbaugh.com

www.michellemalkin.com

Sara Palin's Facebook page

and of course Ann Coulter's weekly column.

I guess you don't read the paid Motley Fool Authors who regularly bring up politics on Motley Fool.com.

Even David and Tom Gardner got major political when they text messaged me personally and many other readers to get behind the BANK TARP fiasco.

So no.... Motley Fool is not merely an INVESTING site.....  It is a political one....  If you do not understand the heavy amounts of political research and understanding that goes into the development and management of an Investment Portfolio then your returns can't be anywhere close to what they would be if you did.

Clarification... I think it may have been an e-mail and not a text message.

None the less... David and Tom Gardner in 2008 generated a campaign with their readers to get on  board the idea of Taxpayers owning Banks.
