I never have a problem with anyone disagreeing with me.  But I do detest hypocricy.  After last night's affair at the White House I really don't want to listen to the President or First Lady talk about income inequality anymore.  Was it really necessary to hold a steak/caviar/chocolate cake/ice cream affair for the French in a heated tent?  So while we cut food stamps how about we cut these extravaganzas?  Perhaps take a cue from the Pope.

I think switched tickers may be the newest glitch in CAPS-land.  The tickers of C,AP,S that came out just fine on the last 'welcome' blog now read C,S,AP.  =P

Wanna talk about hyprocisy?  How about the fact you always post blogs about how rich people should give more, meanwhile the fact that you are a middle class American means youre probably in the top 2% of the wealth in the world, and I don't see you volunteering to give all of your money away.  I don't mean to sound rude but have some perspective before you complain about things.

Go tell a starving African how poor awallejr doesnt have equal income.

And since you ticked me off Val.  I am not spending YOUR money or someone's elses's money to eat steak and caviar.  Now if the Obamas paid for that affair with their own money I stand corrected.  But they didn't.  In which case shame on them.

Are people using food stamps buying food with "their money" ? Obama used our money to buy himself food...I know, let's take even more of the taxpayers money and spend it on more peoples food!

You really want to compare people in poverty using food stamps with Obama squandering taxpayer money on a needless steak and caviar ball?

"in a heated tent"

And I can hear my dad's voice floating back to me, "Close the door.  Do you want to heat the whole outdoors?  Do you think money grows on trees?"  Apparently in the Obama household, the answers are yes and yes - at least so long as we are tending the trees and the government is doing the harvesting.
