I was perusing my annual report from GE today, and one stat stood out to me-
$21,428,765 pr/yr
That's Jeffrey R, Immelt total compensation for the year.
Now if your like me as a shareholder I view myself as an employer and the CEO and board of directors as employees. So I decided to break down Jeffs salary based on a forty hour work week (not factoring in any O.T)
I'm paying Jeff $10,302.29 pr/hr.
Now I think it's safe to say that the average employee spends at least 15 minutes a day in the bathroom thats $2,575.57 a day. I know what your thinking dear reader-
Geez Harry it would be cheaper to just buy him a new suit every time. I know that was my first thought, seriously the Mens Warehouse is always advertising buy one suit get one free. But then I went through the logistics of it. The time spent changing into a new suit would not be cost effective, I'm sure there would be lot's of preening and postureing in front of the mirror involved.
So here is my solution-
Depend® Over time this will be greatly beneficial to the shareholders (employers) With the time saved Jeff can punch out fifteen minutes early saving us money
