Read an interesting piece at Deadline about Lions Gate and some release dates for its movies. Looks like 2018 has some potentially profitable pics coming.

The Robin Hood movie seems like it might get some attention in the marketplace with its September 2018 date, but the film that I think has the most going for it might be the horror flick Hellfest.

It's actually from CBS Films as well (so shareholders in that company might benefit in some small way). Its premise is that of a murderer in a Halloween costume going on a killing spree on the night of the holiday in an amusement park that is also celebrating; the killer gets away with his crimes because everyone thinks, heck, it's all a prank on the part of management.  Anyone who remembers a film called Satan's Little Helper will see the similarity in theme, which is a good thing because that project was excellent. It has some star power with the presence of Ryan Gosling, who if I'm not mistaken was in La La Land? I'd have to double-check that, but I do believe Hellfest should be a hit for Lions Gate/CBS and may become a franchise. Any thoughts from shareholders?

Misread something in the Deadline article -- Ryan Gosling isn't in the Hellfest movie, he's in another movie opening opposite that picture when it comes out...sorry about that!
