Live From Vancouver: What the Gloomy Pros Have to Say

I'm in Vancouver, British Columbia, covering the Assault on Enterprise Symposium for Fool.com.
As the name suggests, this conference is about everything that's messed up with our economy (and how to exploit those shortcomings). The negative bias here is spread thick. The overarching theme is: The Fed and Congress have destroyed everything; what now?
After meeting some folks this evening, I can tell that I won't agree with some of what will be discussed this week. But that's good. Sound analysis involves hearing out people you might disagree with. Whether you're on board or not, I'm hoping everyone can learn something from this gathering.
At any rate, here are a few of the speakers. I'm going to try to publish a rundown after each day, followed by some more thoughtful analysis pieces later this week.
Tuesday:
David Walker, former Comptroller General of the U.S.; President, Pete Peterson Foundation
Frank Holmes, CEO, U.S. Global Investors
Barry Ritholtz, CEO, FussionIQ, blogger extraordinaire
Wednesday:
John Mauldin, prolific author; President, Millennium Wave
Byron King, Outstanding Investments
Thursday:
Vitaliy Katseneslson, author; Director of Research, IMA
Dozens of CEOs from various companies
Friday:
Marc Faber, you've probably seen him on CNBC.
There are countless others. When they say something smart, you'll hear it on Fool.com
Eh!?
