Looking at my smallcaps: 3 potential 10 baggers.
All in brief.
A speculative biotech: Exact Sciences
EXAS has tech to replace FOBT for colorectal cancer. Already in ACS guidelines. Just put into place an experienced team to get product through FDA. Received $24m from GENZ for some tech which will be used to fund FDA trial and get product to market.
A sunny future: Evergreen Solar
Fallen star ESLR is just about over a financing fiasco with Lehman (bastards). Their silicon preserving string ribbon tech is top notch and they are well connected via EverQ. Likely to move with sector short run but appear to have efficiencies unlikely to be caught in the next 5-7 years.
A sure thing: Cryptologic
Ok, there is no such thing as a sure thing except that the house will win when gambling. Well, CRYP is the house making gaming software that is top of the market. Have major deals with Marvel and others for popular characters for games. With Barney Frank bill in Congress NOW to regulate online gaming, CRYP instantly becomes a takeover target by Las Vegas casinos hoping to expand online. Good for CRYP that the casinos are cleaning up their balance sheets and real estate deals as it will allow price to run before a takeover happens.
Do your own due diligence. I have a 4% position in each stock with cost basis about at current prices.
