I just heard that Joseph Steinhardt, a grad student looking to do qualitative research on how users interact with CAPS, is still in need of more users for his study. Here's the link:

Joe has worked with us in the past, and according to TMFJake and TMFCHarris, Fools who participated in the past have had nothing but good things to say about the study. Just so you know it's not an empty request, I have decided to participate myself. Join me, why don't you??

In other news, we had our first (annual?) Motley Fool Hamburger Eat Off and I ate 9 McDonald's hamburgers in 10 minutes. It took me over a minute and a half to eat my first one, which really set me back. I caught up near the end, but it was too late. Congrats to Jared Campell (TMFTheThree) on winning with 10 hamburgers and 2 bites, and Danny Hsia (TMFTerp) for coming in second at 10 hamburgers.

Feeling a bit groggy...

First don't drink anything for about 4 hours before the event.

Right before the event, take a few sips of something to quench your thirst.

Then take all the buns off the burgers and smash them together as tight as you can and jam them down your throat sipping water as you go.

Try and wolf down the meat before the buns expand in your stomach.

Wouldn't sipping the water dilute your enzymes and facilitate quicker expansion? Or is it something that is nevertheless necessary to swallow buns that fast?

Option1307 and lemoneater have said good things, so it sounds interesting. I remember participating in a few psych experiments for extra credit and/or money back in my college days...

Your tip is both helpful and disgusting. I've found that combining water into the exercise helps the food go down a lot faster, but it also makes you want to hurl. Managing your speed and nausea is a delicate balance...

I'll point out that one guy did hurl. He was way ahead, but was disqualified due to the throwing of chunks.
