Comprises 50 medium-sized German public limited companies from traditional sectors ranking after the 30 DAX equities.
Stocks are selected according to market capitalization and stock exchange turnover
Contains strong, solid brand names and highly specialized companies that are leaders in their field with constant earnings development
(with effect from 24 March 2003, the MDax was reduced from 70 to 50 stocks)
