Motley Fool 1

April 10, 2014 – Comments (1) | RELATED TICKERS: DDD

I almost put the bulk of my investments in Motley Fool 1 Managed Assets. My problem is Motley Fool believes in being in 100 percent in stocks. They also believe in buy and hold long term. If you are young I think Motley Fool is exactly right for you,but for folks 65 and older the time horizon may be too short. I don't think all equities is smart because if we had a big correction we could be dead before things poped back. I manage 5 to 10 stocks mostly going on the advice of Motley Fool and have done quite well since joining. I did however sell DDD near its high and am not looking to get back in. I sold at 91.00 a share. I believe it will be a while before it gets back to the nineties.

Nothing against Tom but David is a Tar Heel and his percentage in gains is way MORE! So I tend to go with David's picks.

Had to go look up Tar heel on Wikipedia, as it sounds slightly offensive.

It isn't.
