First I will start with (HNR), An independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, production and disposition of oil and natural gas properties. While many oil companies surged in 2009, Harvest Natural Resources (NYSE:HNR) looks incredibly cheap on a host of levels. Shares fetch at $8.02 while the balance sheet is debt free and contains nearly $1.50 per share in cash. The company has a rich reserve base, with proven reserves equally to nearly twice the market cap.
Since 2/11 of this year Harvest Natural Resources has gains 84.79% and is grossly undervalued and was oversold last year. This stock is the diamond in the rough. The recent oil finds in the Green River Valley of Utah has sparked some interest as of late. But lack of volume has kept this stgock down. The stock has been trading between 7.75 - 8.09 on a daily basis and has turned into somewhat of a day trade. With less than 300,000 shares traded daily and a 52 week high of 8.70. I feel wee have at least another 35% to go in this stock to this upside if not more.
My next pick is Entegris, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENTG) . Entegris has also been trading somewhat like a day trade. But I have been watching it and I have owned it. Selling it recently, I am looking to buy back into it at about $4.90 a share. But I always seem to miss my mark. The other thing about Entegris, Inc. is that it has also beenunder a short squeeze recently. Just under 1,000,000 shares traded daily with a range of $4.90 to $5.03 and a 52 week high of $5.75. (ENTG), Entegris, Inc. is a developer, manufacturer and supplier of products and materials used in processing and manufacturing in the semiconductor and other high-technology industries. Some of their customer to name a couple Hitachi, Micron Tehcnology (MU) which is also oversold. Entegris has been a huge component supplier and maker of semi-conductor parts you use in yoru dialy life; such as the flat screen computer monitor and TV sets. With earning coming out within the nextfew week for this company look for a hard pop in the price. You should see a price after earing of somewhere between 6-6.50 a share. Jim Cramer says 9.00. But if I want to listen to the talking heads. I will go back and play my vinyl records. Haha!
Last but not least is Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Nokia with the completion of its deal with Novarra or rather buyout. I possible look for them to make the move to possibly buyout PALM, Inc (PALM). Nokia has plenty of cahs on hand to do this if they choose to do so. But most of all they will be reporting next month and with the dividend payout of about .40-.56 cents a share depending what what website you use. Look for the upside in connection with earnings and the new smart phone they have coming into the market.
I do own NOK and HNR. But remember you make your own choices and its your money, not mine.
