My New CAPS Focus
As some of you may know, I started out writing a few pharma blogs focused on micro and small-cap biotechnology companies. I enjoyed doing it and learned quite a bit about how to research stocks. Perhaps most importantly I learned how to say no the the great investor folly of "potential", which has lost more money for investors than it has ever made. However, it's very obvious than no one can cover the same volume of companies with the ridiculous detail and knowledge as Mr. zzlangerhans (he rocks!).
That being said I decided to write about what every investor should ultimately pursue: simply what I know. Therefore, from now on I will focus on science related topics (such as my most recommended post on biofuels), publicly traded companies from Pittsburgh (thus the name), and an occasional write-up about my favorite pharma stocks (zz can't have all of the fun!). In fact, when I was making my initial list of Pittsburgh companies I was amazed at how many are undervalued, paying out attractive dividends, and relatively unknown.
So be sure to keep an eye out for my next few write-ups. I know I'll learn some things and hopefully you will too.
