My score is a skid mark on the underpants of the Caps society

What's my point? None. Self-deprecating humor is always funny. And I do have a 'crappy' score ... (yuk, yuk). Plus bastardizing a Dodgeball quote on a boring Friday just seemed to fit the bill.

Hey, binv, my score could be used as a contrary indicator. I usually hang out in the 30s these days, but when we sell off 5% or so I get into high 80s in just 3 days. At that point it is time to go long. It happened 3 times in the last 2 months.

same here man :) If i get to 18-21 time to go short, and when i get to 29 or (god forbid) even 30, time to load up on longs :)

So you think it's time to short now? I doubt it. I see a steady climb to S&P 1200. Then we may get a short pullback - maybe.

leohaas,

The point of being self-deprecating is to poke fun at yourself. It's called humility.

When you bash someone who is being self-deprecating then you are just being an a**..

No worries man :) This is no punishment.

I do not take myself too seriously that I can't acknowledge that I have a crappy score. And if this post makes people chuckle, then I am a-ok with it. :)..

Yes, you may be under 2000 points, but at least your not annoying.  Better to be the jester than the a$$ hat king.

On a side note I will reserve 1 slot for you in the next contest.  If you win you owe me a case of monster.

Open and close a few weekly picks for gains and your score should sky rocket.

I would like to point out that the TARPedBanks account came about when I told Russ, somewhat haughtily, in his blog comments, that I felt like banks that took TARP money would have an unfair advantage over their competitors.

You can't get any wronger than that!

Seriously, I decided Alstry was right and that it was not a great idea to depend solely on others for my income, so I started a business.  It is doing nicely, but takes a LOT of time.

BTW, isn't this the week that we should be singing happy birthday to a sweet small Binvette?  Happy first year of parenthood, Binve!

Love you all, M

Good memory!! Yep, our little girl turned 1 last week. It was great. We had family over, we did pink balloons and streamers and she had her first bite of cake (which she LOVED!) :). She is the cutest little girl ever (which I am sure *every* parent says, but I mean it) :) She is walking and feeding herself. She says a couple of words, but she understands words on her flash cards. She is just such a joy. (Recently she has started with tantrums but I suppose that is par for the course) :)

Thanks for asking!! Love to you and yours! (How is your grandchild by the way!)

binve..
