The Zombulator is replacing human jobs at the fastest rate in history with technology....

It is replacing postal service jobs....banking jobs....retail jobs....publishing jobs.....manufacturing jobs....

Do you really think the Fools are smarter than the smartest players in Jeopardy's history?

Do you think they can trade mulitiple times....in milliseconds back and forth to each other?

In an economy measured by jobs.....the economy is collapsing......it's been collapsing ever since Alstry started blogging as measured by the number of people employed...

Digital Delivery is replacing paper and margins are evaporating in a world trending toward UNLIMITED SUPPLY..

Newsstand sales of US magazines down 9 percent - Yahoo! Finance

But if the Financial Class keeps telling our youth to get jobs in a world where the Zombulator is evaporating jobs...THE YOUTH WILL REVOLT....and eventually over throw the Financial Class...GLOBALLY

Follow Alstry my sheep....to an efficient and sustainable world where the NEED to work drops dramatically....a world where technology does most of the labor and functions people used to do....a world we call the Udder World.

This has been, and always will be, going on......the same generic statements could have been said in 1970.

Do you think they can trade mulitiple times....in milliseconds back and forth to each other?

I think it is unnecessary to try.

Do you really think you can out think a computer where intelligence and functioning has been DOUBLING every few years since 1970....?  Seriously?

I hang out with some really smart guys....and gals.....really really smart......and they KNOW they can't win this game.

I am in D.C. for a few days....I would be willing to have a cup of coffee with any Fool......

within a few minutes....you, collectively will agree....it is rapidly becoming a www.udderworld.com

and if we collectively, as humans and civilization, don't soon change our perspective as a society...London, Cairo, Athens will be more the norm than the exception

The claim that computer intelligence has been doing anything specific at any rate is a fairly dubious claim at best, though it seems that you have aligned yourself with the popular interpretation of the Singularity that someone (I forget whom) mentioned to you a few weeks back.  You might want to add the term emergent behaviour to your lexicon as a matter of interest in both the systemic behaviour that you are trying to describe in the market due to algorithmic trading and also the behaviour of community knowledge that I believe is embodied here in CAPS.

I'd gladly get together over a cup of coffee if you ever make it out to Silicon Valley - I'm not based in the DC area.

Looking forward to it - I don't smoke, so doubling up on the drink will be necessary :)

I have a question I can't figure out the answer to (or maybe don't want to)....it doesn't affect me much b/c I am young but could destroy many people.  With pension funds, are they required to keep paying out to people in a different currency in the event that the dollar actually becomes worthless or does would the obligations be fully wiped out?
