Whenever you let your government BORROW more money EACH YEAR than the TOTAL earnings of EVERY corporation in the nation....you pretty much KNOW that the game is over........regarding the value of money that is.......

Once you bail out your banking system BUT leave the total debt left burdening the PRIVATE economy......you pretty much KNOW that everything BUT the FEDERAL government and Wall Street will collapse.....

And this process is called Zombulation which leads to a Concentric Contraction of the entire economy.........................................and the silly silly sheep cheered it on....amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Funny...I live in a house that's 2x my yearly earnings, but I still manage to make the payment every month.

miteycasey - Do you buy a new home every year?  The national debt is more like 10x annual tax receipts...and it's expected to nearly double over the next 10 years.  Does your mortgage do that?   This is more like a 100 year negative amortization adjustable rate mortgage...it cannot be serviced.

INSANE would be the polite way to put it........

How anyone thinks this Ponzi scheme is sustainable is really not much more than a sheep....

So Alstry, here's a question for you.  Do you think it worth the time for me to continue focusing on wiping out my school loans or should I redirect my $$ to somewhere else?  Reading your blogs, I get the drift, btu I just wonder if its better to sock my money elsewhere.  This is nto abotu ethics as the gov't hasn't been too ethical with our money.  I jsut wonder, if it all hits the fan, life changes as we now it (as you say it will), will it even matter if I accrued debt and had not paid it off?
