Name Change: "dumberthanafool" now "TheDumbMoney"

Well, I did it. I have been meaning to do it since long before I started my own separate blog, which you can find here. I originally chose "dumberthanafool" on a flash of...something...when signing up for this website, lo, back in 2009. I honestly don't remember exactly what I was thinking. Anyway, I started getting comments on my posts like, "you're not dumb, you're smart!" Which is nice. Who doesn't like getting called smart? But let's face it, if I were that smart I'd be an All Star. (I still hope to achieve that one day, using only my tiny number of real life picks, but that's another story.)
Anyway, the old name, I think, conveys either: 1) an impression that I'm fishing for compliments and validation, or 2) false humility. Neither of these things are good! I think TheDumbMoney as used here will, first of all, match my blog, which is "good branding," blerg. And second (and this is why I chose it generally), it will convey something factual that I think I was trying to get at in my original name, that I'm not a professional, that I'm just some dude trying to figure all this stuff out. But if I can succeed in investing and if I can succeed in promoting my blog, it also will convey that sometimes The Dumb Money, as They the Professionals call us, can do OK.
And yes, I ran a Google search on the name. Two blogs have previously used the name. At the time my The Dumb Money blog became active, neither of those had been active since early to mid 2011. Nobody "big" is using it. And it's not like I intend the blog to make my bookoo dollars. So I figured, what the hey, I'll stake it out.
