November 02, 2010 – Comments (5) | RELATED TICKERS: NTWK

This morning I deleted Netsol Technologies (NTWK) from the Barchart Van Meerten Speculative portfolio for negative price momentum and:

1 - 60% Barchart short term sell signal

2 - Down 19.60% in the last 5 days

3 -  Relative Strength Index 42.12% and falling

4 -  Trading 10.11% below 20 day moving average

5 -  Trading 19.60% below 5 day moving average

Let the data do the talking.  Don't worry about one bad stock.  The goal is to build a portfolio of stocks that together beat the benchmarks.  Sell and move on.

Sorry, but making decisions based on price technicals instead of on how the actual company is doing and how they are going to be doing in the future is not my idea of investing.

I'm long on NTWK in a big way.

technicals were screaming buy not sell. If you aren't going to make decisions based on fundamentals then at least get your technicals right..... a monkey could have spotted that this was oversold and ready to pop.

Up almost 8% towards on Fridays session.
