Here’s a hilarious montage of this week’s Newsweek covers in the rest of the world and the US. Notice anything strange?

In regard to coverage of American politics, Newsweek and Time have no objectivity or journalistic ethics.  It's all about allowing Obama to save face and look good--and to spout liberal rhetoric.  I'm surprised that Obama wasn't on the cover of Newsweek in the US edition.  He usually is.  After all, he is more Catholic than the Pope.

The time, blood, and treasure poored into that part of the world in a vain attempt at nation building is a tragic waste.

I certainly understand the theory - but it is unworkable in the long run. Try poking your finger in a pail of water. Now remove your finger. The water just returns to its prior level. That is the difference we are making right now. We leave - they return.

I don't have an answer for how to stop international terrorists - but I know that if we decriminalize drugs we can at least take the profits out of these narco states that end up funding this insanity.
