being "misquoted" by the New York Times. No, he in fact says the NYT "lied" about his thoughts on NFI.

Another conspiracy, no doubt?

Maybe not. Here's what's on his own site:

Or has Mr. Anonymous Easter bunny (Phil Saunders) been hacked?

As this poster points out (http://www.i...;mid=1504257) a simple investigation of who's posting what under which names, aided by Phil Saunders, might help clear the air. But we all know the odds that will happen are zilch.

Seems he's caught red-handed in a simple fabrication and then what? Why back to the conspiracy:

The only amazing thing is that people believed this drivel at all.

So bobo is claiming he is not behind nfi-info? I didn't follow nfi, but was this known in the nfi community?

Seth,

Phil aka Bob O'Brien aka EasterBunny aka DirtyDirtyDeeds is the guy who started the investigateTheSec web site. He has led so many people astray with this Naked Shorting BS. He has no scruples at all and continues to support the most hopeless of stocks.

The depths of this scam run so deeply. On the InvestigateTheSEC web site you'll even see such luminaries as John L Arlitt the current CEO of Conversion Solutions (cshd).

I believe that Novastar was the original poster child for naked shorting and the one that he used to rally much of his original support.

Can you believe that people have donated money to support him (and his website), while their stocks continue to tank?

All in all, it's a very sad situation.

Yes it was. He posted under various pseudonyms for years: dirtydirtydeeds EasterBunny, ncansd3 etc.

He created the web site, he put up the all the information. Technically he may have passed off control but that's obviously just an attempt to divert from the truth.

You're not missing anything really, just the self-contradictory ramblings of a confused, angry, deluded, and cowardly blowhard who's gotten too much press.

Here he/it/they is/are complaining again about being misrepresented by the NYT, and saying "I'm not Bobo"

http://www.nfi-info.net/news.htm

Meanwhile, here's the closest thing you can get to an admission as to identity.

Again, a strange coincidence.

On Bobo's Home page, there's a link to some supposed message board post that serves as a cover story for Bob O'Brien's identity. It was written by someone named Craig Cunningham, who went by the alias on the yahoo alias "working_on_my_first_million, if the connectiong alleged by bobo in that link (http://messa...-1&off=1)

Bobo then tries to give this post some air of credibility by claiming this person as a "Motley Fool Contributor." Cunningham was never a "Motley Fool contributor" in any real sense, having gotten, to my knowledge, exactly one article past Fool editors, (http://www.g...ficial)years ago, and one that was wholly inappropriate for our pages, linking, as it did, back to bobo's own site full of paranoid fantasies.

Bill Mann discusses that here:http://www.fool.com/community/pod/2006/060130.htm

I find it endlessly amusing that a slandering coward who's spent so much time and money trying to hide his identity behind multiple facades believes he's got the right to complain when the confusion he's created causes him to be credited with a quotation taken directly from his own website.

Bill Mann responding to bile spewed by "Retieff" brings back memories. He was easily one of the most foul characters I've ever run across. He penned this sentence:

"The only reason the journalists are in Iraq is to get more of our troops killed and put out propaganda for the enemy."

I stand by my sentiment at that time:
