Would $10 million make you feel rich?

I think I am with the woman featured in the video, it would make me feel comfortable, and probably very comfortable, but not "rich."  It would make me feel set for life and perhaps not returning to the Great White North...

Seriously, with $10 million you'd own a home, within reason, anywhere you want to live and perhaps a vacation home or two and then you'd be watching your money to ensure it was going to last.  Just look at all those home equity withdrawal people out there...  Some of them were probably living $100-200k/year lifestyles and although they were doing things that I was wondering how they could afford it, that's probably in the range of the lifestyle of the person with $10 million if they want the money to last for life.

dwot, that brings up a good conversation, the age old what would you do if?  I'd feel rich.

Here's another thought, I've thought it a lot, what would your life truely be like, would your friends still hang out, would your family start talking more about your money than how you are?

With rising food prices. Especially those made using corn (everything in an American diet) Maybe we will see a drop in obesity? If discretionary spending does stay crimped for a while, people should continue to stay away from restaurants and other high caloric suppliers.

Just a thought, an overly optimistic butterflies and pixie laiden hope.
