OK, I stop blogging

May 02, 2008 – Comments (8)

Before the last facelift of Caps blog page, you could click the "more" link to see what people posted today, yesterday, and the day before yesterday. Now the link is gone, so you can only see the last 5 posts. What's the point of throwing blog entries into a black hole? I'm going on strike until they fire the idiot web designer and make the blog page usable again.

All you need to do is click on the archive list on the right and you can access all your blog entries.

No, I think he means the "more" link in the Newest Blog Posts section. It's a pain, I used to use that a lot also.

Scrooge, easiest way to do it now is to click on "Top Tens" above and then on "Newest Blog Posts". That gets you to the same place.

No I agree with him. I think its a pain to have to go to top 10's.

I agree as well.  One can still access the "Newest Blog Posts" by clicking on the link in the "Top Tens" section of CAPS, but there should be an intuitive way to quickly sift through the newest posts.  Motley Fool should add that link to the new Blogs front page.

Thank you. Someone's got to tell it like it is.

I noticed that link was gone as well.  CAPS already forces you to reload extra web pages because of design and this is getting crazy.

I agree with escrooge!

If it says "blogs" then we should be able to find ALL blogs and not having to search them in the "top ten" link. Only nerds or long time users will know how to find all the blogs in the "top ten" link... (very intuitive...)

Also, it seems this is now CAPS blogs featuring blogger xxx vs us poor plebs. Is that in the sense of the Fool community?

Bad update!

Yes, the assiciation between "top tens" and "older blogs" is so intuitive. Come to think of it, where would a computer geek go by default to look for older blogs? "Blogs" tab? Sheesh. It's "Top Tens", stupid :)
