Only A Fool Would Plan For Retirement....

In a system where the concept of EXTEND and PRETEND is an accepted practice.....and loaning money to otherwise insolvent public companies and local and soverign governments......trying to "plan" for retirement is silly at best and down right ignorant at the core.....

By the nature of the word PRETEND....we know the system is a fraud and insolvent.......the only issue now is how will the fraud be revealed.....there are many different possibilities.....money could be worthless....we could have an economic collapse.....or a massive world war would do the trick....

It is not the end of the world....history has gone through these periods many of times....often tens of millions of people died...sometimes a lot more....but the world went on......for those that lived;)

Few understand the power of compounding....at 7% consumption doubles every ten years.....we simply can't grow the world's consumption at anywhere close to that number for any sustained period of time or we will deplete the world's resources in short order.....

As societies compete for consumption....they will run up against each other trying to secure the world's resources as is currently happening between the East and West in Africa and the Middle East.

At some point, if niether backs down, you must fight for those resources.......as there is not enough to supply a continually growing demand as is currently factored into most Economic models.

How will this play out....who the heck knows...war, collapse, hyperinflation.....all really good guesses........but in the end, you know the current rate of worldwide consumption growth must abate by one means or another....now the question is how......

My question to you Alstry .. and it's the question that I keep asking ... is how long until we will see the veil come down to the extent that all of this corruption, etc. truly impacts our daily lives?  Until then .. yes, 'round and 'round we go ....

I just had coffee and chili with one of the members of the Institute of Alstrynomics, my buddy the physicist.....duing our meeting, another member called us from Texas....a former CEO of a publicly traded company adn we just happened to talk about enjoying the present.

All of us realize the current SYSTEM is insolvent.....and that planning for the future based on this fact is very difficult.  Enjoying the present is easy....we all like wine....me less than the rest of my snobby friends....I prefer cigars, Mich Golden Light or even Coors Light and looking at great looking women.....I am on a perpetual quest to lose about 10-15 lbs.

After that...being with my wife and kids and good conversation my family and friends is really all I need.

Once things settle out....I will be ready to put 110% into my business.

Jersey...as far as when this will play out.....

for millions it is playing out everyday.....and millions more each month as we are losing about 500K jobs per week....

When I started blogging there was about 10 million people on food stamps.....today over 40,000,000......

What you are seeing in Europe going on right now is also part of the process of social unrest due to an insolvency and how it will be allocated among the society.....

Basically everyone is a welfare recipient in one form or another....how the role of master and slave will be allocated among the population is very dynamic right now......

Hang on.....our guess is things are about to really heat up....
